Make Services Accessible

We believe that everyone should be able to access our services easily and without barriers. Accessibility isn't an afterthought; it's built into how we work.

  • Online: We're committed to making our website user-friendly for everyone, including those who use assistive technologies like screen readers. We follow best-practice guidelines (like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG) to ensure our digital doorways are always open. This includes using clear fonts, providing descriptions for images, and ensuring our site is navigable by keyboard.

  • In-Person: Our physical locations are designed to be welcoming. We provide accessible parking, step-free access, and ensure our spaces are easy to navigate. Assistance animals are always welcome.

  • In Communication: We understand that everyone communicates differently. If you need documents in large print, or would prefer us to explain things over the phone instead of by email, just let us know. We'll always use plain, simple language to make things as clear as possible.

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Health issues, major life events, financial difficulties, or personal challenges can happen to anyone. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) refers to people in these situations as 'vulnerable customers'.

But we don't see it as a label; we see it as being human. Our promise is to be here with extra care and flexibility if you're going through a tough time.

You might need extra support if you are dealing with a health condition, going through a major life event like a bereavement, facing financial difficulties, or simply need help due to age or a disability. If you are struggling for any reason, we want to help.
